Turn on the damper to turn on the chisel

Check whether the bolts, nuts, and flexible connecting pipes are loose or missing.
Check if the air hose is leaking.
At the same time, check whether the hose is worn or damaged.
Check whether the impact piston is lubricated.
IV. operating procedures
1. When working with a chisel, first touch the chisel head to the concrete surface.
2. Chisel out the concrete surface by moving up, down, left, and right.
- The faster the chipping machine moves, the shallower the chipping depth is: the slower the chipping speed, the deeper the chipping depth.
Generally, you can gouge 1 mm deep each time, so if you want to gouge a thickness of 5 mm, you need to go to the same plane 4-5 times.
- After the operation is over, release all the air pressure in the compressed air circuit.
V. operation precautions
1. The operator must read this manual carefully before operating the machine.
2. Wear personal protective equipment including safety goggles, protective shoes, earmuffs, and sleeves.
3. Make sure that the air pipe and the joint are well connected, and the air pressure must meet the requirements.
4. Do not use solvents such as gasoline to clean this equipment.
5. As far as possible, avoid the unloaded operation of the chisel. If the chipping machine is operated without load, it will damage the chipping machine and may cause the chipping head to slip off. The chipping rod will hit the chipping rod sleeve and cause damage.
6. Do not use this tool in an explosive environment.
VI. operating instructions
1. The inner diameter of the air pipe should not be less than 10 mm. Limit the length of the air hose to 10 meters (33 feet). If you need to increase the length, the air pressure will drop by approximately 0.16 for every additional 15 meters (50 feet) of the air hose. Bar (3psi pounds per square inch).
2. The correct working pressure is 6.2 bar (90 psi), do not let the operating pressure drop below 5.9 bar (80 psi) or rise above 6.9 bar (100psi). For a single-head chisel, the air compressor must supply at least 7.08 liters per second (15 six square feet per minute).
3. Before each operation of the equipment, connect the air pipe joint and the hair chipping machine firmly, close the hair chipping machine inlet valve, and start the air compressor. When the air compressor pressure reaches 6.2 bar, open the hair-chipping machine inlet valve. Start work. When the work is over, turn off the air compressor first, and then close the inlet valve of the chisel when the pipeline pressure drops to zero.
4. When the chisel is working, we only need to provide proper pressure to it. Excessive pressure will affect the working efficiency of the chisel and reduce its service life. Proper operation can allow it to exert greater efficiency.
5. We recommend installing a filter/regulator/oiler air preparation device (to remove moisture). Clean and dry compressed air is beneficial to increase the service life of the chisel.
VII. Connection removal and installation of hair chipping machine and air compressor
7.1 Precautions when disassembling and installing compressed air hose
1. When disassembling the compressed air hose, be sure to release the air pressure in the compressed air circuit. Turn off the exhaust valve of the air compressor, and then open the chisel control damper switch until the chisel does not work.
2. Before connecting the hose, blow in compressed air to remove dust.
7.2 Install compressed air hose
Use a pipe clamp or iron wire to firmly connect the front end of the air hose with the hair-chipping machine.

VIII.Replace the chisel head and chisel rod
8.1 Remove and install the chisel head
Remove the chisel head
Lay down the chisel, use a screw to pull out the chisel, or use a flat spatula to strike along the edge of the chisel to remove the chisel.
Install the chisel head
Wipe off all the impurities in the chisel head and chisel rod.
Note: If there are impurities in the chisel rod, it will damage the chisel rod and piston sleeve during operation.
8.2 Changing the chisel rod
Remove the chisel rod
After confirming that the compressed air in the pipeline is completely released, remove the air pipe joint and clean the machine.
Clamp the chisel shell with a vise, and place the gland on top. Turn the gland, remove the gland with threads, and take out the spring seat and spring from it.
Push the piston rod upwards and remove the piston sleeve.
Install the chisel rod
- Clean all parts with kerosene before assembling, check if the parts are in good condition, and replace them if they are damaged.
- Clamp the shell of the chisel with the wrong table, and push the piston casing and the valve body into the piston casing. Put the spring into the spring gland, and then put the spring seat into the spring gland.
- Use some sealant to coat the threads of the spring gland, screw the spring gland into the valve body, and then use a suitable plate to screw it to 55N.M. (N.m.). Put two rubber handles into both ends of the handle, and tighten the lock nuts.

VV. Storage precautions
1. Disconnect the hose connected to the chisel, and insert a plug into the pipe head. And use kerosene or engine oil to scrub all parts clean.
2. The chisel must be stored indoors. If it must be stored outdoors, place it on a horizontally placed wooden block and cover it with canvas.
Remarks: If the hair chisel is not stored, water and dust will enter the cylinder, causing internal parts to rust and wear, and can cause other failures of the chisel.
VVI. Machine troubleshooting
The possible failures of the haircutting machine are as follows: the machine bounces when the machine is in use, the machine is barely running on the ground, the work efficiency is low, the sticky phenomenon, or the machine does not operate at all. The occurrence of the above situation is called insufficient air pressure or blockage of the cylinder piston.
