Working Principle

• Water Cleaning Methods:
  • One common way is through high-pressure water guns. Such cleaning machines are equipped with high-pressure water pumps that pressurize water and then spray it onto the surface of the photovoltaic panels through specially designed nozzles. The high-pressure water flow can wash away the dust and stains attached to the surface of the photovoltaic panels. For example, in some large photovoltaic power stations, vehicle-mounted high-pressure water cleaning machines are used. Operators can drive the vehicle along the photovoltaic panel arrays and use the adjustable-angle high-pressure water guns to clean the photovoltaic panels.
  • Another method is the spray cleaning system. It sprays water evenly onto the surface of the photovoltaic panels through spraying devices installed above or on the side of the photovoltaic panels. The water flow pressure in this method is relatively low and usually works in combination with cleaning agents to enhance the cleaning effect. For instance, in some small distributed photovoltaic systems, simple spray pipes are installed on the frames of the photovoltaic panels and connected to the water supply equipment to achieve regular spray cleaning.
• Mechanical Brush Cleaning Methods:
  • Some cleaning machines use mechanical brushes to clean photovoltaic panels. Mechanical brush cleaning machines usually come in two types: rotating brushes and reciprocating brushes.
