The upset forging machine uses the principle of cold heading to plastically deform the end of the steel bar, the diameter is increased by 4~6mm, and then the thread is processed. The actual cross-sectional area after the thread is machined is larger than the cross-sectional area of the original steel bar, which greatly increases the tensile strength of the joint. The threaded joints of the reinforced concrete are completely broken in the base metal by tensile test, and are suitable for construction, roads, bridges, power stations, etc.
