Product Description

Application for the post-tensioning anchor:
1. post-tensioning of the anchor can be used efficiently in all applications of Building and Civil Engineering works including
A. Building floor slabs B. Bridge girders C. Many other applications
2. post-tensioning of the anchor is commonly used in bridge construction as well as other civil Engineering structures such as Silos, Water tanks, etc.
3. The strands are individually gripped in one anchorage unit and transmit their prestressing force using anchor plate casting unit type M.
4. For each anchor size a special spiral reinforcement is provided at the anchor plate casting to give adequate splitting reinforcement for bursting stresses developed at the anchorage zone.
5. The strands in the tendon are stressed simultaneously using a multi-strand stressing jack from capacity 1,100 KN up to 5,000 KN. In the case of small-size tendon units such as type M405, the strands can also be stressed individually using the mono jack. 
6. To ensure corrosion protection and to give adequate bond strength, the tendons are filled with suitable cement grout mix after complete stressing of the strands.

Anchorage in Prestressed Concrete

Anchorage as the name signifies is a component of a post-tensioning system that is used to anchor the tendons into the concrete while terminating or joining two tendons. The main function of anchorage is to transfer the stressing force to the concrete once the stressing process is completed.

Parameter for post-tensioning anchor:

The diameter of PC strand can be divided into YM12.7, YM13, and YM18 type anchorage, the anchoring system is mainly applicable to the strength of 1860MPA-2000Mpa and below the level of 12.7mm, 12.9mm, 15.24mm, 15.7mm, and 17.8mm as the standard strength of steel strand of 5mm-7mm high strength steel beam 1670Mpa. Wide range of options, YM is suitable for the design of tension anchor systems between 0-12000KN, and the number of steel strand range is 55;
